Alex brings a blend of corporate and executive search experience to every assignment. Since founding The Exeter Group, he has completed search assignments for some of the top corporations in the United States and internationally.
Within the financial services industry, Alex has conducted a number of search engagements covering Securitization, Leveraged Finance, Real Estate Finance, Credit Risk Management, Modeling and Analytics, Asset Management, Project Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Sales, Trading & Research - both Debt and Equity. Within the healthcare and industrial sectors, Alex has conducted numerous search engagements covering Legal, Regulatory and Compliance, Quality, Sales and Operations.

Prior to founding The Exeter Group, Alex managed senior professional recruiting at Salomon Brothers and NationsBank (Global Finance). He participated with executive management in strategically building organizations both domestically and internationally. His assignments have included building out a newly created domestic sales unit and establishing a global securitization organization in Southeast Asia.

Alex has managed internal executive search departments and has been responsible for the development and implementation of diversity focused recruiting strategies.

Ray Knight

Ray brings over fifteen years of broad-based financial services and information technology experience to every assignment. Prior to joining The Exeter Group, Ray served as the Chief Operating Officer for Genuine Wellness Inc., headquartered in Chicago. Previously, Ray was Chief Information Officer and a Senior Strategist for a large State agency. His career in financial services has included business development, marketing and analysis with two global investment banks and an international hedge fund.

Ray was awarded an M.A. in Public Policy/Finance from the University of Chicago. He earned his B.A. degree in Economics from Oberlin College and was also a commissioned officer in the US Army.
